2027 FT Recruiting Timeline/Advice

I'm a rising senior at a target school, currently interning at a top econ consulting firm (think analysis group/cornerstone/cra, etc). I'm looking to pivot into bb/eb/mm or MBB for FT. What are my chances?

Would really appreciate any advice/clarification on the timeline! Happy to chat if you're in similar shoes.

Tons of other threads on this. It is not that different from SA recruiting, except that in interviews you will be expected to speak to your deal experience very intelligently, and the bar for technicals will be very high. Not necessarily harder questions, but since there are only 2-3 spots per bank, you really cannot get much wrong.

Also, OP, I do not know if you have a finance internship this summer, but if you do not have one at a LMM PE firm or even a MM firm, it will be an extremely hard uphill battle. You can basically rule out top groups, since they pretty much exclusively hire from BB/EB. For networking, I would start around now and gradually increase into August.
