A Wall Street Job Can’t Match a Calling in Life: Michael Lewis

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601039&s…

Pretty interesting article from the author of Liar's Poker about the disillusionment of young bankers in Wall Street that makes you think about your career goals.

With so many people leaving the industry - it's time to think about what you really want to do!

"The young man went on to concede that what attracted him to Wall Street was the chance to get rich quickly, and the excitement -- but that both of these things now seem gone forever. "

Yeah, nows a good time to actually mean what you say for the "why ib/trading/etc?" question.

Sooo many people at my school still want the job yet somehow don't even know the difference between debt and equity...

lewis is always on the side of now, wall street makes money, hes pro wall street and vice versa just goes where the tide takes him
