Advice
For context, I have an internship at an M&A boutique this summer on the East Coast, and I am from the West Coast. With spring break coming up, I emailed the firm telling them I'd love to come by the office as I will be out there over my break touring housing options. They graciously agreed and offered to take me out to dinner etc. Problem is I already found housing and do not have a reason to go out, but I do not want their first impression of me to be cancelling on dinner and everything. Thinking of shortening my trip out just for a couple days to go to everything with the team, but it is a far travel for just one night. What should I do?
