I was an SA in NYC but didn’t get a return. I couldn’t get many interviews during senior year because the market was tough.
Right now I have 2 options:
Do a MSF for 100k and recruit IB once again.
Get a 80k job at a boutique in Public Finance in a regional city.

I was in the same position, picked the regional office in another country. It was the right choice because I ended up in NYC later on.
I would take the pub fin job. That's a decent role and plenty of opportunity to move up or get to NYC within 2-3 years.
MSF is pretty tricky since you're gunning for very very limited FT spots and would have no internship or a random internship this summer... decent likelihood you end up in the same situation $100k poorer
