Advice for Canadian student aiming for US IB?

Hello,

For context, class of 2027 at semi-target Canadian university, going to work off cycle at big 5 canadian bank. Missed S26 recruiting.

Interested in NY/SF (ideally tech but not a deal breaker), no pref over BB/MM.

Does anyone know what options I could have? Should I extend grad and try to land a global for the summer? Can I exit to US if I return to big 5 full time (well aware off-cycle-> return is h arder)? Would specific groups line me up better than others? Am i cooked?

Any insights greatly appreciated!
