Advice for Start of Job

I’m starting full-time at a bank in a few weeks that I lateraled into during recruiting rather than interned with.

During group placement I spoke with a number of analysts and associates on the team, and after I got my placement I followed up to thank everyone who had helped me. It’s been a few months since I’ve talked to any of them, though.

Would it be worthwhile to reach back out to a couple of the analysts before I start, mostly to ask for any advice on hitting the ground running and to catch up? Or is it better to just wait until I’m actually on the desk?

Part of me thinks they’re probably spending a lot of time grabbing coffee with the summer interns right now, so maybe it makes more sense to reach out once that dies down and I’m in the city for training.
