Advice for Student

New monkey here! I'm currently an incoming third year BBA student and I was just wondering if recruiters will look down on individuals who have accounting internships previously. I'm in my school's co-op program but because of Covid, my previous internship got cancelled and I was forced to find another internship or else I'll have no office experience. As result, I got an offer from a regional accounting firm but I am required to come in the next year (I can't quit or else I'll get kicked out of my co-op program). Will this hurt my chance of landing a high finance position when I graduate?

We are in the middle of a global health pandemic where hundreds of thousands of people across the world have died, and people's careers are being screwed (e.g. internships getting cancelled, job offers being rescinded, layoffs, etc.) and you're complaining about actually having an internship?

Not complaining. Really thankful for it actually but I was just wondering what high finance recruiters think of accounting as opposed to candidates who have that relevant experience.
