ADVICE NEEDED

A2 at EB. Offer lined up at 2B AUM HF. skipped oncycle twice, and I have a few options ahead of me, but wanted to get thoughts here

  1. Career banker: God No - would rather be unemployed

  2. An old mentor of mine is willing to give me a few million (I’m shocked too). He wants me to set up a roll up strategy, starting with franchises and if all goes well ina. Few years start acquiring bigger and better things. I’ve spoken to some folk in commercial banking for financing and I might be able to actually do something here if I play smart. Just scared shitless of doing things myself at my age.

  3. go to the hedgefund - idk it’s pretty sick and I know the CIO there. Should I just stay on the path?

  4. MBA - how else can I start buying midwestern HVAC companies?

I want out of NYC, and I’m going back to my LCOL city. I’m invested in its redevelopment so I genuinely would want to do something in real estate too, and I think the roll up is the highest risk but the highest reward and can have me see returns before I turn 30 if I play my cards right. But should I wait a few years? Don’t think there’s a timeline on his offer but I feel like if I’m too cocky or confident it’ll bite me in the ass.
