Alabama Investment Banks? Founders Advisors?
Currently a sophomore at a state school in Alabama, and I’m interested in pursuing investment banking. Looking in state, my school has a decent presence at Founders Advisors in Birmingham and it seems like that would be my best bet. Does anyone have any insights on the exits and wlb at this firm? Anything helps, thank you.
Interviewed with them including a superday a couple of years ago. Seemed like chill people that are solid in the MM space specifically with founder owned businesses as the name suggests. Most of the group seemed to be from Alabama / Auburn so your ties should help. Don’t really think it’s an exit oriented shop and comp also seemed way below market, albeit probably better WLB included. I think the internship offer came out to like $25 an hour and that was assuming you’d only work like 40 hours a week
Arlington Capital Advisors is a leader in the alcohol/microbrewery/restaurant space. Heard they were expanding into cannabis. "Eat, drink, and get high"
