Allen & Company sole sell-side advisor on Activision/Blizzard deal?
I know most of their deals aren’t publicly disclosed, but we haven’t heard much at all over the last few years about Allen & Co. All of a sudden, they’re announced as the SOLE sell-side advisor for Blizzard in this monster $68.7B transaction? I was under the impression they usually co-advise given their relationships/discretion and let the other bank handle the heavy lifting.
Does anyone have any Allen & Company experiences to share? Always seemed like such a secretive firm, almost like the “black box” of the IB world
