Am I cooked? I cannot do a Cash Flow as a 2nd Year Finance Student

Since I started studying Finance, I have always been surrounded by super talented people that looks busy af the whole time, they are already investing, owning an ETF and having internships scheduled until 2028 at JP Morgan. I feel so behind and I do not know if it is because I am taking my Major really chill, or am I dumb, etc. I really don't know exactly what is my spot on this classroom. Am I the only one? I do not read the news or look at the Stock Market everyday.

Yesterday I had an exam worth 40% of my final grade, we were asked to do a Cash Flow using the Direct and Indirect Method. It seemed easy at the beginning but then everything got harder, meanwhile everyone else was already finishing the exam. I was the last one at the room and could not finish.

I feel kinda dumb right now, everyone is SO into finance, talking the whole time about Investment Banking, Quant Finance, etc. Am I the only one that does not know exactly what to do with my Degree? Am I the only one that feels so lost? I want to do something about it but I do not know where to start or how to start.

No you're not dumb, you just need more practice. Some things in life are fixable, this is one of them. You can always learn more accounting
