Am I screwed for SA 2026?

I’ve had a rough last couple months for personal reasons (familial health, etc etc) and couldn’t really focus on recruiting with everything on my plate. It’s like everything that could’ve went wrong went wrong. I’ve already missed a few diversity program deadlines because of this and I feel terrible. I only just started networking and seeing that everyone started networking seemingly in September/October, am I done for? I have a good gpa, go to a target, have unique non-finance internships, but timeline wise, am I just too late? My upperclassmen friends are willing to help me but I haven’t really been getting a ton of responses from AN1 or AN2. Is that because I’m genuinely too late and they’re getting flooded rn, or is it because it’s the end of the year/they’re busy? I would really love advice.

Every year people freak out that things go so much quicker than they actually do. Focus on your own recruiting, go all in for the next two months and it will work out.
