AN1 who has a exit opp lined up. Is there any point in me trying anymore?

I’ve been on the desk for a half a year and am really starting to dislike this job. I hate the long hours, stress culture, and lack of autonomy. I have an exit lined up that I think will open doors to allow me to live a lifestyle I want. I was previously aiming to be top bucket, but at this point, am I good to stop giving a fuck? Obviously I want to pull my weight to a reasonable standard but is there any point in going the extra mile if I know I’m not gonna be in this industry in a few months? I’m just really trying to not be stressed out over something that I’m not gonna be doing for the long run.

Sorry if my attitude seems bad. It’s been a rough few months.

Never a good idea to phone it in and risk leaving your seniors with a bad taste in their mouth. Memories are short and the industry is smaller than you think.

Not sure of your situation but wouldn't advise it given state of economy. Layoffs happening more frequently and with deal flow being choppy heading into '23 you should just keep the foot on the gas. You're almost home - don't shake the boat now.
