Analyst said they'd refer me to others, but ghosted

On some networking calls, the banker has told me to send a follow-up and they'll refer me to other people at the bank to talk to, but some of them haven't responded to my follow-up. Should I follow up on the thank-you email reminding them, or just drop it?

Hopefully that wasn’t me lol (2nd year at a boutique). Been receiving an average of like 20-50 networking emails a day and def have a good amount I haven’t followed up with. It’s never personal and shouldn’t mean anything about ur chances at landing an interview

Don't follow up more than once. Agree with above, it's really not personal. Those 20-50 emails are on top of 100+ work emails, it's just impossible to reply to everything

Reach out again once you apply (respond to your thank you, not your follow up) to let them know you applied and you really appreciated chatting with them and let you know if there's anything you can do or anyone you can talk to to better your chances. That may prompt them to push your resume
