Analyst/Associate Moving Internally to Another City Logistics

Hey all,

I'm currently nearing the end of my two year analyst stint (IBD) in a regional office. I've been offered to stay on as a third year analyst and will be moving to the firm's New York office.

Historically, I know analysts in similar situations at my firm have had all of their moving expenses covered, but I wanted to see if anyone else had gone through this and been offered a stipend of some sort, which I view as preferable. Any specifics would be very helpful before I propose an alternative relocation package.

Appreciate all answers and insights!

Thanks!
