Any specific thoughts on Incentrum?
I'm curious whether anyone can provide a detailed perspective on the firm (besides that they do HC and merchant banking blah blah)—it seems like they do very very few deals (advising or investing) but have a substantial number of high-profile stuff.
Are they just working on major things really secretly? I would love to hear what they actually work on and what it's like to work there.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, Incentrum Group is a merchant bank with both an Investment Banking (IB) and Private Equity (PE) side. Analysts at the firm reportedly dedicate half their time to each side, which provides a unique and valuable experience.
Some analysts have chosen Incentrum over traditional EBs/BBs due to the opportunity to gain exposure to both PE and IB. The firm seems to have a strong team with former BAML vice chairman, BAML/MS MDs, and analysts from top-tier schools.
However, it's noted that they seem to do very few deals and there isn't much information available about them online. This could be due to the firm being relatively new or they might be working on major things secretly.
As for the culture and type of work, there isn't much detailed information available. They have been recruiting on-campus for summer interns, which could be a good opportunity to learn more about the firm.
Remember, it's always a good idea to reach out to current or former employees on LinkedIn to get a first-hand account of what it's like to work there.

You have an SA or FT offer?
No I'm just curious
My impression was because they're fairly small, they're not out there chasing every deal under the sun. They will pitch really aggressively (and win) for a few deals/advisory mandates that they actually believe in, and fees go a long way spread out amongst like 30 people. They also brought on some new high level people recently who are presumably in the process of getting up to speed and there will be a bump in activity.
Great place to work, presumably you've had some calls with them and have a feel for the people. If you're curious about exits I'd check linkedin.
I'm not recruiting for them I'm just curious what they do—as far as I can tell they've been on a very small number of <5B deals which is great but not really comparable to the Ardeas / Dyals / M. Kleins / DBO etc. Hence why I'm wondering if they do higher profile stuff that's just not publicly known.
How have you found their deals?
