Anyone else this passionate about their banking job?

Recently had a networking call that lasted an hour. The person I was talking to started out in IB but transitioned into WM as they got older. In the call, they complained about being forced to take off 2 weeks this year. She told me before this year, she hadn’t taken a vacation in 24 years. Also, she told me she say this was her life and didn’t give a F about WLB. She is in her 60’s now. Anyone else love their job that much???

Yeah, my point exactly. Sounds like a total loser too. You didn't take time off in 24 years to spend time with your family or friends? Like, what is wrong with you?

If you have nothing in your life that would make you want to take time off work, you are a loser.
