Anyone have a pulse on FT associate spots open (or soon to be open) in NYC?

Seeing a few spots open now across various banks/groups, but curious if this will largely be firmed up after summer interns roll off and FT headcount is re-assessed.

For context: background in credit/distressed and looking to make the jump to IB. Have MBA, so this would be at the associate level. Know a few people in the industry who said activity in this context will typically pick up come August/September timeframe.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I'm going through various networking calls now.
