Anyone know much about Corporate Banking at Canadian Big 5?

Anyone here have experience in what the Big 5 Corporate Banking roles are like? Hours, responsibilities, compensation, differences from US to Canada, etc?

Thanks.

In Canada, lending relationships are the foundation of getting IB deal assignments so the CB lending activities are essential. This is different from the US where IB is still very transactional. CB and IB in most of the banks work quite closely with each other and are often grouped together into Corporate and Investment Banking. Compensation will be similar in terms of the base but bonuses for IB will be more significant. Corporate banking will also be much fewer hours (think 60-70) but can vary significantly by the firm. Recruiting timeline for SA positions and full time runs alongside that of IB for the most part. Hope this helps.
