Apologize in follow up after interview?

Made a minor mistake in interview but not sure if this will be an automatic ding (at least its not great).

Should I include a small explanation & apologies in the end of the follow up email? Just wanted to make sure if it's appropriate or not (or if it'll bring negative consequences)

*dressed business causal instead of business formal. My first ever interview btw

Don’t be a beg. If it is not material, they will ignore otherwise you won’t change their mind. That all changes if you are female candidate because bar is super low then and teams desperately need them. Suggesting this based on personal experience of leading recruiting past few years.

Ignore my title, I am a VP now

Don’t think it’s worth mentioning. If it was a technical question you got wrong, then maybe, but attire is probably not worth it.
