Applying to different coverage groups at the same firm?
Applied to one coverage group and made it to superday. Unfortunately didn't get an offer. I decided to apply for another coverage group at the same firm and managed to get an interview. I did mention during the interview that I had made it to a superday in another group but didn't get it, to which the interviewer responded "that changes things." The way he said it didn't sound negative. I only mentioned it because I thought I did well in the first superday but I guess they liked another person more. Can this be held against me?
