Interviewed with them for a SA. Was pretty standard little bit tougher technicals but they are all ex EB people so it made sense. Seems like a very solid firm with strong deal flow.
Do they do any other verticals outside of FIG? I'm interested but want to keep options open to other industries
Also what is their comp for AN through Partner ?
Only fig
Not true
They are expanding. Recently on Glencore Teck
Interview process starts with what I’d like to call the weirdest exam ever. It’s a bunch of weird times tasks (brain teasers). After that, if you pass, it’s a call with their recruiter, nothing technical, just behavioral. After that, it’s a modeling exam, 2 hours, 3 statement with debt waterfall. If you pass that, there is a technical super day and then offer (or so I’ve been told :/ )
Do you remember what score did you get in the brain teasers that allowed you to progress to the next step in the process? Perhaps the number out of 100 or the wording?
Anyone hear back after model test?
I heard no, as they had a few issues with model exam. Have heard the next step is a superday but be prepared as they grill you there
Thanks, that’s helpful. Also what issues did they have w the model exam?
Had a model test and a superday.
Can anyone PM about the modeling test?
Can shed some light on their LDN process. Starts with CV + CL drop. Then, a really weird test that no one else uses, which includes numerical/verbal exercises, logical reasoning exercises...etc. If you pass that, it's a first round with mostly motivationals. Afterwards, it's a case study where you have to present a deal and they really grill you on assumptions and rationale. Then another interview where it's more about your deal exp and technicals too. And finally, you do 2 interviews with all the partners in the office. Quite comprehensive and they place a massive emphasis on fit - more so than any other shop I've interviewed at thus far - so know what you're getting yourself into.
A lot of places have similar tests
I'm well aware, but the interface was quite different as well as the content - they came from this test provider called 'Thrive'
Was this for internship or FT?
bump - curious what the SA process looked like
internship
