At Jefferies Houston. Working till 2-4am on the regular but semi light hours on saturday. but the group is having a great year so expecting a very nice bonus. We are gonna have a net increase of 8 analysts by the end of July so expect hours to go down then.
Is that increase of 8 from new first-years arriving or laterals? If the latter that's insane. My bank in Houston is losing analysts like crazy and laterals are tough to come by.
Yes. I also have the great pleasure of cross-border deals with time zone differences on some of my deals, providing me with the opportunity to attend 6am meetings frequently.
Moreover, people at my group are mostly the sole analysts on each deal, so good luck if something goes wrong you basically have no bandwidth
