Asking too many questions?
Interviewed at an EB. Yesterday was Hr today was w/ an Analyst. I spoke most of the interview after the basic questions like why here why this sector why IB. After that she asked me if I had any questions so I began firing. Started off asking 2 niche questions about a certain SPV they use. To which they gave vague replies and said they would need to do more research. After that there was a decently long pause of silence so I resumed my questions asking them about their favorite deal, why they chose this firm, their own outlook on if the industry will grow in a certain way, how much they collaborate with international offices, and what work I could help them with. They answered all these well. It was a 30 minute zoom first 10 were me pitching and second 20 were me finding out more. Was this an overstep on my end. Context I just graduated and am looking for roles, i showed i did an exorbitant amount of research and they ended with enjoy the time left you have while you dont have a job. Thoughts?
