At a crossroads - not sure what to do, please help

Hey guys,

I worked at a BB last summer and didn't get an offer. I hated IB and I couldn't see myself doing it. I didn't know of any other career paths this year so I took another IB offer.

The thing is I hate it and want nothing to do with the financial world. I hate working numbers...I receive the WSJ yet never read them. I just throw them out. That made me realize how much of a mistake I doing trying to go into IB again.

The other part though is I want money, I want nice house, I want a nice car and those are my main drivers...what do I do? I don't want to work in a corporate setting at all and if I do I want it to be competitive and commission based. I can't get into S&T now because it is too late.

Did any of you ever deal with this?

Stop being a pussy. You didn't have the balls to do what you wanted during recruiting season because you were afraid of messing up your chance at an upper class lifestyle.

You throw out the WSJ every morning and you want nothing to do with the financial world? Why the hell are you mentioning S&T?

MM IB -> Corporate Development -> Strategic Finance

Being a musician is the new trend when you don't want to be a powerpoint proofreader. Ask Steven Riddley (apologies if name is misspelled), he will tell you.
