At what point is it just experience?

Hey Monkeys - At what stage in a bankers career do grades no longer matter? If I were to make a lateral transition from a MM boutique to a bugle bracket per se, how many years of experience would I need so that it would be professionally acceptable to exclude my GPA from my resume, and conversely, for the hiring bank not to ask for a transcript?

Thanks in advance.

I generally don't care about a candidate's undergrad GPA assuming he has completed a 2-3 year analyst stint at a reputable bank. If you were lateraling to my shop after only a year or two of experience I would generally expect to see your GPA on your resume and if it was not there I would just assume that it was poor. Not an automatic ding but would definitely want to address it in the interview.
