B4 Audit vs MSc finance

I’m from Italy, graduated from a public university in Business Administration, actually work in Deloitte (Audit), 25 yo, and my plan was always work in IB.
My question is.. is it worth study again and gain an MSc Finance or it is better to do really hard networking sessions and send many applications if my ideas are clear? When is the best time to leave Deloitte? After how many years? My goal is to work in IB outside Italy so in every country in Europe is ok.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Go for an MSc Finance while you’re still young. It’s very hard to switch from Audit to IB then

I would try to get into an MSc as soon as possible, so September 24.
Depending on your preferred location, I would aim for:
- Italy: Bocconi
- France: HEC/ESSEC
- UK: LBS/LSE/Imperial

yeah i think you should go for that Msc, but keep in mind that only a few in Europe have an almost certain pipeline into IB, and the only one in Italy is Bocconi... if you want to work outside of Italy you could try for HEC and ESSEC in France, HSG for DACH, LSE/LBS in UK and SSE and RSM for the nordics.
You should always try to study where you want to work, and depending on which languages you know you can pick between these masters.

the deadlines are tight but try to enter in 2024 MIF starting in September. It's crucial to land a master in a Target school (LSE, Bocconi, HEC). It's tough and the competition is very high. I'm a bocconi student therefore I can give you some infos and admission requirements for Bocconi program.

Deloitte in Italy is not very prestigious, you can see students with only a bachelor and coming from non-target school, therefore landing an IB role afterwards is almost impossibile.

Good luck!!!
