I don't think this would be an issue. As soon as you have the updated transcript or GPA, you can log back onto the HR system and update it.
so should I go back into my application and update the application itself or something else?
Most systems have a feature for applicants to update their documents. So if the current GPA is different from the one before, then update it. But honestly, I don't think anyone would expect a candidate to frequently update their application online. People submit their application, wait, that's normally it.
Basically, what I am asking is that my app and resume are 100% accurate, during the background check, would they consult the people that interviewed me? Because other than that I have nothing too worry about.
The interview panel get a link or HR portal message to go to a field and comment/write up the interview. that's it. In rare, more advanced cases they have a rating system or HR software that allows the interviewer to score a candidate. But we don't have that.
I sincerely doubt that all of this would be an issue for you at all.
Let sleeping dogs lie man. If anyone asks, say the truth. Your gpa changed during the process timeline. It can’t have changed that much.
