background check for returning FT

My bank sent us the background check earlier this week and I am a returning FT Analyst. It is the same company/forms as last summer and we have to do it all over again. I have international internships and it took them a month to verify them last summer. Is there a way to transfer my old information since it is the same background check company? can I just call them and ask or would it look suspicious?

Not really. The background check company only gives your firm a background check form that you can request. They likely won't notify your firm if you call and ask them.

Either way, they'll have to reconfirm everything. For my internship the background check company didn't confirm two of my experiences but nothing happened. I wouldn't worry so much about it and if you got paid you should have some type of tax form or proof of employment.

just leave out the international internships then. i leave out some of my internships on my resume if i feel that they're not that relevant. makes the background check process easier too

My university degree is currently on hold (finances related) but my background check started 2 weeks ago and no one has received their degree yet. Will the background check company reconfirm degrees when they’re officially handed out?

Anyone who has done a background check before: did you see anything specifically about doing a social media sweep?
