Very vague question. Balance sheet banks include JPM, BAML, Citi but also WF, Scotia, SMBC and these kind of banks so exits are completely different between these two buckets. Your exit opps will depend on the brand/tier or your bank and the team you sit with (LevFin vs M&A vs Sector). Obviously JPM exits are strong pretty much across teams with ppl going to traditional PE, credit roles, HF and so on. Same for BAML, Citi, CS and generally all the BS banks with strong IB franchise (although they'll lag JPM). No clue on exits from other BS banks.
