BAML CorpFin Group vs Citi/CS FSG
Does anybody have any information on BAML's CorpFin group or Citi's/CS's Financial Strategy Group? Seem like very interesting groups that would work on special situations/distressed M&A and capital raising, but not too much info here on the forum. It sounds like the CorpFin group was a top group and pretty selective when it was at ML, but there hasn't been much on the group since the merger. Anybody familiar with these two groups as of recently? Thanks.
anybody?
Are any of those IBD? Citi and CS IBD's don't have FSG.
BAML Corp Fin advisory sounds IBD-ish to me. If so, definitely BAML Corp Fin.
I know BAML's is. It seems like the groups are similar but BAML CorpFin does M&A. I know the group is now CorpFin and Restructuring. I'm mainly interested in BAML as I understood it was a top group in Merrill before the merger. Just haven't heard much about the group since.
BAML does have a separate M&A group though.. so not sure how much corp fin does that anymore.
