BAML Rates and Currencies Origination (GCM)
Was wondering if anyone had any information about this group - they sit in GCM and sell rates/fx hedges to corporates. I'm having a hard time finding comparable groups in different banks and was wondering what exit opps look like

I know Goldman has a group like this and there is a really good thread on this site about what this role entails and its progression. From what I remember, as long as you like what you're doing, and if you're good at understanding the product, progress is extraordinary. You do get pigeonholed but if you like the product, are making good money, and progressing quickly within your firm, why not stick to it?
