Ban Bronzbomba unless he can provide proof he's at BofA

If he can email Patrick from a BofA email or provide his LinkedIn, he can stay.

Look, I'm all for messing with BofA but there is VERY strong evidence that he either works for UBS or is just a troll. All his other posts are about UBS/CS layoffs, except for his post about Barclays which was just wrong information. I know people personally at Barclays NY. Nobody was locked out of the elevator. You guys are sometimes posting things as if we don't actually work on Wall Street and don't know people at other banks that we can just text.

If BofA juniors wanted to organize a strike - fine. Good. But there is no indication that this is an actual thing. If anything, it sounds like Bronzbomba wanted people to just not show up to work, without any kind of notice, and get themselves fired. That's unacceptable and massivley counterproductive. We want the people pushing back on the bad staffing to be IN positions of power, not fired. This guy is either an idiot or outright malicious.

I'd say keep that thread up but locked, just so there isn't more conspiracies about censorship, but unless this guy can provide proof he's actually at BofA and organizing such a strike, he's got to go. You're just leading people into an ambush. For what? Internet clout? You need to get laid.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's crucial to approach situations involving allegations or claims about employment with a demand for proof to maintain the integrity of discussions. In the case of "Bronzbomba," if there are doubts about his claims of being associated with Bank of America (BofA) and instead possibly being linked to UBS or being a troll, it's reasonable to request verification such as an email from a BofA account or a LinkedIn profile. This ensures that the information shared on the forum is credible and that members are genuinely representing their stated positions.

Furthermore, it's important to handle such threads with care to avoid misinformation and potential harm to forum members who might act on unverified claims. Locking the thread while keeping it visible could be a wise decision to prevent further spread of potentially false information while also addressing concerns about censorship. This approach allows the community to see the discussion but prevents escalation based on unverified or harmful suggestions.
