Banks That Allow Recruitment for Specific Groups

Hey monkeys,

I am a junior with a summer analyst position lined up at a MM tech bank in New York. I've considered recruiting for FT positions, but I want to dedicate myself to tech, and being placed in a group that I have no interest in (everything except tech), would be like a wasted year of my career. This MM bank has solid exit opps but it's definitely not the best tech group out there.

My question is: What investment banks allow recruitment for specific groups?
