Barclays Summer Analyst Perks
Hey everyone, I am an incoming IB Summer analyst at Barclays. We have not received much information on meals provided, as well as laptop if hybrid work continues.
Will meal stipend be provided, transportation for late nights, and computer when WFH. Any helpful information on what to expect would be great, thanks.

Interned at Barclays last summer when it was fully remote. No laptop or meal stipend. Things might be different this year if you will be coming into the office, but any perks will be communicated to you during orientations.
As others have mentioned, you need to change your username and profile pic. But nothing wrong with asking these questions, better to do so on WSO than to someone at the firm.
Eh, id argue that there's nothing wrong with asking someone at the firm. I mean if the perks exist then they should be used. Nothing wrong with asking. There's so many random benefits when joining a firm that you sorta get lost and don't know what exists so you should ask.
that's fair, apparently meals were reimbursed and some of us didn't know about it, so you're right should've asked around
I interned at Barclays last summer and they didn’t give a laptop but they did reimburse the meals at the end of the summer. You just had to submit the receipts. It was $25 per night and they just sent one big check at the end
that's crazy our group never heard about this...don't recall HR mentioning it either
Yeah I found out halfway through the summer when someone mentioned it offhand. Crazy it was never said in training.
