Barclays v BOFA v PWP v Moelis?

got the BB offers through diversity programs. primarily interested in prestige and exit opportunities. thank you! right now my intuition is 1)Moelis/PWP 2) BOFA 3) Barclays but would love some perspective

Thanks for the input. Between the 2 I'm leaning PWP though because of the cultural aspect (especially given the recent PJT email) and because of the advantage when potentially applying to HBS later down the road, and think exit opps/prestige are pretty similar between the two. What do you think?

If this is Moelis NY then it's a tough call between the two firms . I know that the culture at Moelis NY has improved substantially since that staffer email 2 years ago. I wouldn't make a decision based off what firm gets me into HBS, and trust me you can get into HBS/GSB from Moelis as well. Looking at LinkedIn Moelis also places more into MF PE and has better exits overall, but exits are of course still decent at PWP.

I can say that at my target school I've seen ppl take Moelis over PWP, but never vice versa. If your goal is to stay in IB long-term than maybe PWP since you really like the culture there, but if you want to leave after your analyst years than stick with Moelis. Really can't go wrong either way and congrats on the offers!

I see Moelis/PWP as bucket 1 and Bofa/Barclays as bucket 2. You need to choose 1 or 2 based on what you want long term, and then within the bucket just go with best culture. For me, that would be PWP and Barclays.
