Barrenjoey has now had time to mature having poached was is basically the whole street.
What are people's thoughts about working there? Is it as good as I hear? How have people found their way in at the A1/A2 level?
Analyst 1 base: 175k AUD + bonus (top of street)
Associate 1 base: 300k AUD + bonus (top of street, base partially determined by team you were poached from or previous team)
Top of street bonus TBD but hear in line with GS/MS
Do you know if there have been any non-poached hires? They've got a generic *reach out to us* on their careers page but havent heard of any instances of people taking that route.
I personally know two people that were working outside of IBD (still in finance) and interviewed with BJ (?) and both received offers at the associate level.
Were they contacted by headhunters?
Wow those bases are crazy
Agreed - those are much higher than EB bases in the US (converted to AUD)
Does Barrenjoy sponsor visas? Been wanting to move to AUS and stay in banking but don't know if it is possible with Australia's tough immigration policies.
