BB Equity Research Associate Modeling Test

Seen some older threads but want to confirm that:

  • I won't have to spread historicals
  • probably be given an earnings press release to integrate and project from

It's a 2 hour modeling and 2 hour writing. Any other tips and considerations greatly appreciated!

Two hours for the modeling test is a long time. I suspect it will be more than just updating a pre-built model for the latest year or quarter. I would go in with the expectation of building an integrated three statement model from scratch. You should also be sure that you know how to model out quarters. Most people spend all of their time practicing how to build annual models but then get tripped up when they need to model out quarters.
