Thought I would create a discussion on my experience interviewing for an IB position at BofA in London for SA 2021. Unfortunately I did not receive an offer to join the team, but I gained a valuable experience and learned a lot about myself as I made it to the Assessment Centre (no Superday due to Covid). Although all SA jobs are more than likely full, feel free to ask any questions regarding the interview process, lead time etc.

Bruh I listened to a BAML SA AC (London) because I was in a different room of the same house and it was lowkey retarded, they didn't even manage to do a real individual case study, just asked the most basic stuff you can ever think of and stupid behaviourals. The only thing you learn from an AC this retarded is that you better have a personality because technicals won't save you when they ask you to do 1+1.
Btw I didn't interview there and I'm interning at a different US BB, so no hard feelings towards BAML, just was shocked when I witnessed this AC
Every single AC at every bank in the street has been freaking easy, you have been lucky this year
GS, MS, JP, BofA, Citi, CS, Barc, UBS... All were the same shitshow
I wouldn't say that if you know your shit you are lucky this year. It has been a shitshow with less intern spots and more random outcomes. The only way you are lucky is if you don't have a clue about IB and just skim read the 400 Q&A.
All the BS questions I got asked in 4 BB assessment centres...
You literally do not need to know a thing about IB to get an offer
