Beauty / Fashion Deals?
Hi everyone — was not able to find much information about this online or on other forums here. Is there a specific ib group that does a lot in the beauty / skincare / fashion space? It’s a huge industry, but I don’t neccesarily see it as a sub vertical in a lot of groups. Could anyone chime in about this? I’m super interested and would like to pursue opportunities to work with these types of clients. Thanks!

A lot of places call the specific sector the beauty and personal care space within CRG

Intrepid in LA does a lot of them.
Intrepid, Piper, Goldman, Jefferies all have dedicated beauty bankers

ayeeee same - worked at Sephora the past year just so I could observe the brands I love in real time! So happy other potential ibers are interested in this space and I’m not crazy haha but Jeffries gs (too faced, Charlotte tilbury) citi (on LVMH/Tiffany deal) financo JPM are the names I see a lot on my favorite ones
GS, JPM, PWP, and Centerview are all quite strong in the beauty and personal care sector.
Beauty is a vertical in Consumer. No clear leader in the space, all the above are strong + Lazard (did SkinBetter Science recently and deals with L'Oréal / Natura etc in the past)
Fashion is very different - GS, RTH , LAZ all strong, French & Italian angle is important here
