Bellcast Partners - Staffer Request??

On cycle kicking off soon so filling out the questionnaire for Bellcast and they ask for the contact info of my staffer. My group is not chill when it comes to recruiting so i really do not want my fuckin staffer having any sort of idea. Anyone know if this is common among recruiters? Do they actually call up my staffer as some form of due diligence? Don't know how this would end well for a lot of us, but maybe im paranoid?
