Seconding this. Have had for a few years and absolutely love
custom mech keeb with your own macros.
QMK or CircuitPython. Whatever floats your boat.
keeb on the right, separate numpad on the left. it is supposed to be faster once you get used to it.
I dont have time to build custom any recs for pre-built top tier mech kbs? Budget ~$800
Whatever my bank gave me with the F1 key popped out.
this is like saying what condom is gonna make a 4 inch dick feel like its 8. Just model on whatever u got
Weird reference man seems a little too close to home?
ha, thats decent.
Das Model S Cherry Blue with clicky keys, without a doubt the fastest keyboard / best for modeling
You'd also be the most hated person in the office with blue switches.
Similar question to OP - best keyboard for modelling in the office? Something that is ofc mechanical, but not too loud. Everyone has the MX mechanical in my office but honestly it feels like shit IMO, its like a pseudo mechanical membrane-esque.
Lenovo SK-8827
HyperX Alloy Origins Full Size Tactile Blue (make sure you get blue over red - red is designed for gaming so even the slightest fingernail tip of a key counts as a stroke, which is not ideal for precise typing)
Corsair K70 RGB PRO with your favorite switches
It doesn't matter as long as it has a keypad and isn't loud to type on.
Anyone have info on Razer Deathstalker vs the G915?
Cherry MX blue switches + super bright RGB lighting will make you popular in the office
