Career Resources
Based 100% on just my vibes (have not data to back this up, in no particular order, and very limited list):
ehh other than Rohatyn, Moelis, and Quattrone, these guys don't have the same statute as Bruce Wasserstein, Bob Greenhill, Joe Perella etc
I once had the unfortunate experience of seeing Wasserstein in a mankini at his beach house...it was his house and private beach so I guess I can't complain too much.

Everyone is second tier when in a room with Rohatyn. And I have worked with a couple of the top names since and they are impressive but Rohatyn is M&A god
I had one meeting with Rohtayn when I was an analyst and he was in his 70s and he was still on another plane to anyone. Knew everyone, knew all the chess pieces and knew the technical and accounting detail better than the other MDs. Pulled a slide rule out and check my merger math, no none.
A shoutout to Ken Jacobs of Lazard. Low key but no one could work a board better

Underrated pick. Certainly the best FIG banker of the last few decades and perhaps the greatest deal maker in Europe.
Yeah, likely the undisputed FIG / Banks banker. Got aura too. Although i do wonder how many more failed UniCredit bids does he have left before the BoD start to get impatient with him
