P&U is good is what my friend at Barclays told me.
Side note, did you intern somewhere previously or is this direct grad offer? I thought they weren't taking any FT apps this cycle.

+1 on P&U, can confirm good rep, flow and exits. UK M&A is also strong and I'm under the impression that Consumer was decent - might not still be the case as there was a lift up of key people from Jef. They were involved in some landmark Telco / Internet deals too but not sure if that means strong Telco franchise overall.

Whats avg deal size of P&U Ldn team?
Are exits mainly InfraFunds though? Interested in MF/UMM PE.
Not sure re deal values. On exits, Infra PE will always be at play and guess majority of exits will be to that. However, I'm sure you'll get shots for Corp PE too. I've seen both P&U and FIG people exiting to UMM / MF PE (not from Barc tho)
P&U is their top group for certain. Can get some insane exits from there think Blackrock infra pe, Macquarie infra pe etc
P&U is their top team and tend to find the earliest PE exits coming from there. A few MF exits from TMT, and rest end up going to decent MM/UMM funds too. LevFin is also very good with exits.
P&U and Industrials are the 2 best teams in terms of fees generated, followed by TMT and FIG. Consumer is growing pretty quickly
