Not sure, couldn’t find any information on that. I think the deal started as a sell side for BNPP.

BMO is buying their commercial and retail banking unit, run through Bank of the West. Not really sure how this will help IBD. According to seeking alpha, "On closing, the acquisition will bring 1.8 million customers to BMO and extend its banking presence through 514 additional branches and commercial and wealth offices.
