BMO (Chicago) Groups insight? - 2023

Hi all,

Recently accepted an SA offer for investment banking at BMO Capital Markets in Chicago. In the coming months, I will be engaging in group placement, and am aware that BMO has LevFin, M&A, FCR, and Industrials (amongst other) groups either centered in Chicago or split between that and NY.

As an individual who wants to "give banking a good shot", whilst simultaneously keeping my exit options open (I'm aware BMO has no exits directly to MF PE, but many analysts/associates have lateraled to BBs and then reached PE), I was wondering if any of you had any insight about BMO's groups?

Any insight is appreciated, thanks everyone!
