BofA GCIB Credit Analyst vs JPM Private Bank

Hey everyone, which intern/FT position do you think has better exit opportunities and long term earning potential? Is a LevFin/DCM lateral reasonable from the credit analyst position? What about M&A? Long term - I think I would like to land in corporate finance in efforts to one day become a CFO. Thanks for your thoughts everyone.

JPM PB is p much WM . You should def take BofA GCIB b/c ull build a much more useful skillset in credit and corp fin. has potential to lead to seats at credit funds or corp fin if u decide to go that route like u mentioned w the CFO goal

Yea u will be so much better set up than I was. For reference I just got my FT offer for DCM after interning in CORP FIN – not even bank related. M&A IB will probably not be possible or very difficult imo though.
