Bonus Clawback Risk When Leaving After Year 2?

I'm currently a second-year analyst at a bulge bracket firm in SF and have accepted the third-year offer. Our two-year program officially ends on June 30th.

That said, I have a few interviews lined up and could receive job offers shortly after the program ends. I'm trying to understand the implications of timing my departure.

From people who’ve been in similar situations — if I give notice after June 30th but leave before my bonus actually hits my account (likely in August), is there a risk my firm claws back the full bonus? Or would they just reduce it since I'm not staying on for the full third year?

Technically, I would need to inform them of my plans before June 30th, but I’m unsure how strictly that’s enforced or how our HR policies handle this.

Would appreciate any insights.
