Massage in Thailand, sauna in Macau, pinsaro in Tokyo, Amaterdam RLD, Czech private parties, and so on. I don’t make nearly enough for all of this, but hope keeps me going everyday.

Just remember that the cheapest sexual adventures in foreign countries are often the most expensive. Be careful out there

Definitely would need to start medications to prevent possible exposure to HIV within like 3 days of the interaction which may be hard to get a hold of safely in a 3rd world country (majority of STDs/STIs are fairly treatable even if exposed honestly but having HIV sucks even with medical advancements largely due to the stigma). Sex tourism is not worth the risk unless it's somewhere where they have to get tested constantly and you happen to be desperate I guess?

Not hating on your choice, but there is a certain pleasure to spending quality time with friends and family while you can, instead of in 20 years. I lost a lot of friends and family in the past year, enjoy what time you got while you can, instead of when you're 45. Life is too short to not enjoy it while you can.

Pods absolutely suck imfho. There are different levels of espresso budgets, but there is a decent set up you could put together at each band. Away from that, a hand grinder and chemex would be so much better than a pod to make pour-over.

That being said, you may enjoy the convenience of pressing a button over the taste, which is fine so you can get back to grinding.

Breville Barista. Cannot recommend it enough. Spend 30 minutes tuning the grind settings, learn how to steam milk, and you'll never have to pay for coffee again

“You’ll never have to pay for coffee, except that you will want to always have fresh beans, experiment with different roasts and regions, and spend an unreasonable amount of money supporting small roasters” pls fix

Breville is def a great machine though. Go to rec for anyone who wants a quality simple setup and doesn’t mind overpaying a tiny bit to save the trouble of piecing together an ad hoc set up.

Have a pretty decent set up from deal hunting for well-spec’d lower brands, but my next upgrade will definitely be a manual La Pavoni. Not sure if I’d suggest it as a first machine, but it’s truly a work of art and you can get the Euro for ~1k. Biggest cost is that you’ll want to upgrade your apartment to have a spacious open kitchen layout so you can properly showcase the machine.

Love it! Great effort to get to ~18 without the consistency of clubs and I assume no ability to consistently play and practice.

Keep at it, but found for me it was very difficult to get beyond ~12 - 14 or so. The consistency, and when certain things click, you can hopefully see a big jump from hitting mid-90s to approaching low-80s on good days. Regardless, it's a lifelong skill and enjoyable to play in all situations (with friends, clients) if you can break 100.

Good choice! That will 100% make a difference in your game. I'm a lifelong golfer and bought my first fitted set about 10 years ago and it significantly increased my joy of the game.

Good luck!

If I had to blow it on an object I don't really need at the moment, probably finally my first Rolex to the collection. Definitely interested in the GMT II Batgirl...so might get on a waitlist at least.

I finally got my record player set up with some speakers and a receiver, so I’ve gone a bit crazy with vinyl purchases the past couple weeks. Also bought a couple tickets to see War on Drugs and Beach House, so mainly music related stuff it seems haha. Next on the list is a couch upgrade..have had a mediocre Overstock one since moving to Chicago, so want something I can just lay and veg out on, without the cushions shifting a whole lot. Leaning towards making a trip to a RH to feel some out.

Had a hookup for RH and got mine at a significant discount. I hate it. Love the shape, but the fabric didn't come out how I initially believed. The cushions don't hold their shape and I've had them replaced (for free), but need to do so again. It looks sloppy.

I'd look elsewhere unless you're planning to buy The Cloud, then full send. That thing is great if you can ever get up.

I'm a little closer to retirement that most of you so the bonus going into the 401k is an important part of my plan.

But, that also buys me peace-of-mind for the rest of the year because I can do fuck all with my money and I know that my retirement is taken care of. After all, the majority of us make a healthy salary, it's not like bonus is the only money coming in, right?

December tends to be a slow month in the office for me. I took a week-long trip to Hawaii this year and I loved it. I will be using my money to spend all of December in Hawaii this year. I'm going to take my dog, post up at a nice beachside hotel again, have my girlfriend join me for a part of the trip and just lay on the beach, drink and play golf for the whole month, guilt free.

Congrats man! I love the Caymans/GT4s even more than the 911s. They are so aesthetic. What color did you go with?

Thank you! Mine is Shark Blue. I love the look of the GT4’s too and it was a great way to start building a relationship with Porsche. They accepted my 992 GT3 order (no allocation) so I’m thinking maybe if I do finally get a call in a couple years, I’ll be able to trade up to one and have the funds to do so.

I’m assuming you bought CPO? You’d have an easier time finding a samsquanch than a new Cayman on the lot.

I actually got mine brand new at MSRP. Completely lucked into it. My local Porsche dealer doesn’t do markups on custom orders and the guy who originally ordered the car backed out. This car wasn’t even listed online and I happened to stroll in at the right time. Could not pass up the opportunity to get it

Brand new tailored suits 80s style, some expensive Cuban cigars, and 3 kilos of blow, for my Tony Montana NFT Christmas card anno 2022. Did you get the link, mum?

Also thinking about getting a 458 or a 911, depending on the size. However, I think I might be smart and get something like a Model 3, and put the rest into my NFT...

I don't know... Yeah. Almost definitely yes.
