Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what I found regarding bonuses at LAZ, GHL, and Guggenheim:

  • LAZ (Lazard): There's a mention of LAZ in the context, but it's related to their operations in Australia, not specifically about bonuses. However, it does note that LAZ has a very small team but strong deal flow, which could potentially influence their bonus structure.

  • GHL (Greenhill & Co.): The context indicates that Greenhill has been experiencing a decline in deal flow and relevance in Australia, with their top M&A guys planning to spin out. This could affect their bonus pool, although no specific numbers are provided.

  • Guggenheim: There is no direct information about bonuses at Guggenheim in the context provided.

For comparison, the context does mention that EVR (Evercore) and PJT had bonuses of $197.5k all-in for first years and $200k+ for second years in the past summer. It's also noted that PWP (Perella Weinberg Partners) had especially high bonuses, but no specific figures are given.

If you're looking for more detailed or recent data points, I'd recommend checking out the latest threads on Wall Street Oasis or reaching out to industry insiders for the most current information.

LAZ bonuses were not that good. For sure not in line with other EBs, which is a shame.

Not surprising tbh. LAZ has historically always underpaid compared to other EBs, even in Europe where it is considered more prestigious

Funniest

Looks like these are the numbers for GUGG:

A1 top at 380

A2 375-500

A3 450-525

Because the figures were embarrassing and shameful for an EB… barely 6-fig for some non-stub mid buckets

GHL numbers -

A1 total comp (top bucket) 380, mid bucket 320 (around 80% of base)

Overall pretty decent, higher than LAZ but lower than the heavy hitters (CVP and PJT)
